Who we are

Genesis 8 is a registered small business (osek patur) operating from Modi’in, Israel, providing automated phone and WhatsApp reception for businesses. This document explains what is collected on this site and in the demo, what stays on your device, and what we do with the information.

What the site collects

  • Normal browsing: the site uses no cookies — no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Visitors are not tracked.
  • WhatsApp: when you tap a WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place in the WhatsApp app under Meta’s policy. We see your number and message and use them only to reply to you.
  • The voice demo: the conversation with the receptionist on the demo page is transcribed and recorded by our voice provider (ElevenLabs) for quality control and deleted within 30 days. It is a fictional clinic — there is no need to give real details, and we ask you not to share medical information. The call library is loaded from a CDN (jsDelivr) only when you start a demo.

What stays on your device (not with us)

Two items are stored in your browser’s local storage only and are never sent to us: the demo counter (up to two demos per visitor) and the accessibility preferences you choose in the accessibility menu. You can delete them at any time through “clear site data” in your browser.

Our business clients’ data

When we run a receptionist for a business, the business owns the data and we process it on its behalf under a written data-processing agreement. The receptionist collects only a name, phone number, reason for the enquiry and requested time; it never asks for an ID number and never stores medical information. Enquiry details are passed to the business and kept for as long as the business decides.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, as amended, you may review the information held about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to hello@genesis-8.com or WhatsApp 053-730-7960 and we will handle it within 30 days.

Providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. The voice and WhatsApp receptionist run on infrastructure providers (ElevenLabs, Meta, Anthropic) that process content solely to deliver the service. We do not sell data to anyone and do not share it for advertising.

We update this document when something changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
